Seoul

Visiting Seoul felt like stepping into a vibrant mix of tradition, creativity, and modern life. One of the most unforgettable moments was watching a magical sunset on the Han River. The sky shifted from soft pink to deep orange as the city lights slowly turned on, creating a calm and beautiful scene that contrasted with Seoul’s usual fast pace. Another highlight was learning how to make kimchi. Mixing the spices, coating the cabbage, and seeing how much care goes into such a simple dish made us appreciate Korean cuisine even more.

Seoul’s modern side was just as fascinating. In one convenience store, we found a ramen-making machine that instantly cooked the noodles for you with the perfect temperature and texture. It was fun, quick, and surprisingly delicious. We also visited a peaceful temple, where the quiet atmosphere and traditional architecture helped us understand the deeper spiritual side of Korean culture. Later, walking into the COEX Bookstore felt almost surreal. Its massive bookshelves, warm lighting, and artistic layout made it one of the most impressive bookstores we had ever seen.

Food was another major part of the adventure. Eating crab with rice and other Korean dishes showed us just how bold and flavorful the cuisine can be. Every meal felt fresh, comforting, and full of character, from spicy stews to crispy street-food snacks. In the end, Seoul left us with memories of beautiful scenery, delicious food, and moments that mixed the old with the new. It is a city full of life and creativity, and the trip made us excited to return and explore even more.
