Visiting the Middle East began with our time in Dubai, a city that rises out of the desert with futuristic energy. The highlight was visiting the Burj Khalifa and riding the elevator up to the observatory, where the entire city stretched out beneath us. From that height, the buildings looked like miniature models, and the desert surrounding Dubai seemed endless. It was a moment that showed just how quickly the city has grown and how impressive its architecture truly is.

Another unforgettable part of the trip was heading deep into the desert. This desert is known as one of the longest uninterrupted stretches of sand in the world, and being out there felt like stepping into another planet. The dunes shifted with the wind, the heat shimmered in the distance, and occasionally we even spotted small scorpions hiding under the sand. Despite that, the experience was exciting rather than scary, especially during the dune bashing and the quiet moments watching the sunset.

In the end, the Middle East offered a mix of adventure, beauty, and surprises. Dubai’s modern skyline contrasted sharply with the vast, ancient desert that surrounds it, giving us an experience that felt both futuristic and timeless. It was a journey that showed us a region full of contrast and wonder, and one that left us wanting to return and explore even more.
